Smart Odour Control Units
Changing paradigms for changing times Aqoza offers solar powered IoTenabled smart odour control units designed and developed to track monitor and maintain the air quality nature of pollutants quality of purified air This advanced OCU is designed for an un manned remote operation come with innumerable benefits like collecting data generating actionable insights predicting maintenance of the units the lifetime of filtration agents etc.
The adsorption system used in standard odour control units are one of the sustainable and healthy ways to improve air quality This process involves the use of an activated carbon media to remove gaseous pollutants and odours from an air flow During the process compounds in the pollutant air react with the carbon to stick to the surface area effectively removing the contaminants from the air This technology is also used in applications such as gas masks radioactive iodine removal water filters nuclear submarines etc Leveraging scientific research and innovation we have developed different types of carbon media depending on the field of application Our standard odour control units capacity ranges from 50 m3hr to 1000 m3hr.
- Renewable odour control units using solar energy
- H2S sensors Pressure sensing for monitoring the pressure drop of the filters
- The system alerts when the filtration media lifetime is about to end
- Alerts before the odour approach the threshold values enabling to respond before a problem occurs
- Reliable odor control with small footprint
- Minimum maintenance
- Configuration for low flow rates
- User friendly control interface
Standard Odour Control Units
Standard odour control units from Aqoza are ready to use units designed to offer solutions to the most standardized problems We offer a wide range of odour control products that are both budget friendly and can provide effective solutions that is tested and trusted by the masses

Engineered odour control units
Our technical experts evaluate the problems and challenges faced by our clients and provide the most flexible and reliable tailormade solutions for their specific odour emission issues The highly intelligent engineered odour control units are suggested after carrying out a step bystep investigation of the odour emissions from its sources which effectively remove the pollutants which cause odour.
Standard Odour Control Units Using Adsorption System
- Sewage treatment plants
- Effluent treatment plants
- Manholes Pumping stations
1 Engineered Adsorption Systems
Apart from the standard OCU based on the adsorption system we offer wide range of custom engineered units based on the adsorption system Any capacity requirement of above 1000 m3hr is considered as custom engineered unit which are designed and optimized based on the site requirement.
2 Engineered Chemical Oxidation System
Our unique range of engineered odour control units using chemical oxidation process involves oxidising agents reacting with organic pollutants in the air and oxidizing them Essentially these pollutants undergo a chemical reaction that transforms them into nontoxic substances and traps odour efficiently These advanced technology filters not only remove odours but also destroys other harmful organic matters Aqoza offers Chemical Scrubbers that are specifically designed and engineered to remove one or more types of gas pollutants depending on the customers needs Often these pollutants are chemicals such as ammonia chlorine or sulfur compounds.
- Chemical oxidation effectively oxidises 99 organic pollutants to less dangerous or harmless substances
- Removes other types of odor causing substances like amines compounds
- Helps to achieve immediate odor control
3 Engineered Biological Oxidation System
The knowledge and experience of Aqoza has made it possible to adapt to the most eco friendly technologies for the changing times and changing needs Our emerging odour control units use biological oxidation for the destruction and removal of VOCs organic matters odors and hydrocarbons.
They are highly effective in removing especially odorous compounds including organic and inorganic compounds nitrogencontaining compounds NH 3 amines and sulfurcontaining compounds H2 S mercaptans sulfides These units are particularly applied in pharmaceuticals Sugar factories Paint coating application resin manufacturing wastewater treatments etc.
Two broad categories of Biological oxidation
Biotrickling filter and BioScrubber using Inorganic media
These engineered systems feature cuttingedge technology structured media with engineered flow channels that promote efficient speedy treatment of odorous air It incorporates the usage of inorganic media bed and irrigation water to treat toxic and odorous gases and conform to environmental regulations.
Bioscrubbers involve the absorption of the compounds to be degraded in an absorption tower filled with liquid and is circulatedrecirculated through the absorption media Unlike bio trickling filters Bioscrubbers are the most suitable systems for the treatment of highly water soluble compounds.
Aqozas biotrickling units are capable of treating very high or very low concentrations of pollutants Biotrickling filters generally fuse the properties of both biofilters and bio scrubbers It contains media water and other odour treating nutrients Once the polluted air is gathered it is forced into or pulled through the vessel and removes the emission components from odorous and pollutantcontaminated wastegas streams We also understand that one size does not fit all and hence we engineer the odour control units based on the way the odorous air is collected and is treated based on the unique schematics of your site.
Biofilters using organic media
These customs made biofilters are carefully designed to remove undesired foul gas from the environment with the usage of microorganisms to biologically degrade odors and other volatile air pollutants It effectively treats contaminated gases and enables complete decomposition of the odour causing pollutants without creating hazardous byproducts offering high performance at the most competitive prices.
The biofilters allow contaminated air streams to encounter the fungi and bacteria in the media in an aerated sump where they are captured and digested by a community of naturally occurring microbes The odour causing contaminants are utilized as a food source for the microbes and exhausted into the atmosphere as nonharmful compounds which are no longer perceptible such as small amounts of carbon dioxide and water vapor Theoretically these biofilters do not introduce new hazardous substances in the process of odour removal They are designed to handle corrosive environments and can run in 15 20year life cycles.
